The 2nd Digital China Summit Came to a Conclusion and Eight Ministries Released Relevant Policies and Reports

Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony of the 2nd Digital China Summit was held in the morning of May 8, during which seven ministries and commissions (bureaus) of the State Council and the Party School of the CPC (National Academy of Governance) released the latest policies and reports.

During the ceremony, as hosted by Qin Hai who was Director of the Informatization Development Bureau of the Cyberspace Administration of China, Guan Qiang (Vice Director-general of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage) released Guide to Authorization of Copyright, Trademark and Brand of Museum Collection Resources; Wang Yimin (Director of the e-Government Research Center of the Party School of the CPC (National Academy of Governance) and Vice Director of the National E-government Expert Committee) released Investigation and Evaluation Report on Online Service Ability of Governments of Provinces and Key Cities (2019); Liu Qichang (Deputy Director of Information Center of the Ministry of Justice) released Aggressively Promote “Internet+” Public Legal Services; Zhang Shaomin (Director-General of Information Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and Executive Deputy Director of the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission) released Guide to Strengthening Ecological Environment Network Safety and Informatization Work; Tang Ke (Director of Market and Informatization Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs) released Aggressively promote the Development of Digital Agriculture and Countryside; Mao Qun’an (Director-General of Planning Development and Informatization Department of the National Health Commission of the PRC) released Report on Promoting the Development of “Internet + Medical Health”; Sun Suchuan (Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of SARFT) released County-level Merger Media Center Standards and Intelligent Radio and TV Circulars; and Wang Cheng (Deputy Director of the Ground Observation and Data Center of the National Space Administration) released Interim Administrative Regulations on Civil Satellite Telemetric Data.

On the same day, Li Zixue, Chairman of ZTE Corporation, delivered a keynote speech titled Accelerating 5G Innovation and Promoting Digital Reforms; Chen Tao, Executive President of iFlytek, delivered a keynote speech titled Promote Digital China with AI Talents; Ren Jingyang, Vice President of Sugon, delivered a keynote speech titled Making Breakthroughs in Advanced Computing and Serving Digital Economy; Wang Jing, CEO of Newland, delivered a keynote speech titled Discovering a New Land in the Digital World.

Thereafter, Digital China Industrial Development Alliance and Digital China Research Institute formally launched the “Pilot Program” of digitalization restructuring in Fuzhou with the guidance of the Organizing Committee of Digital China Summit and the support from Fujian Provincial Leading Group Office of Digital Fujian Construction and China Information Communication Research Institute.

The 2nd Digital China Summit & Exhibition will remain open until 5 p.m. on May 9. Interested citizens are welcome to visit the exhibition at any time before the closing day.
